# Referrals Overview

**Referrals is the GraphDex account-growth surface — invite users, watch invited activity, and claim referral rewards that feed back into both your account level and Earn APR.**

{% hint style="info" %}
On the Polygon (Predictions) side of GraphDex, this section has a parallel — see [Predictions side](/graphdex-docs/referrals-predictions/referrals-overview.md).
{% endhint %}

Referrals lives behind a signed-in session. If you open it without an active account, the terminal asks you to connect first. Once you're in, the screen carries everything you need to run a referral programme end to end: invite link and QR, the **Referrals** and **Claim** tabs, an account-level panel, reward summaries, the referral table, and claim/withdrawal controls.

Referrals connects to two other terminal areas. Your **account level** changes referral percentages and unlocks new tiers, while referral activity feeds into **Earn** via APR boosting — the same referral effort lifts both visible reward streams.

**Invite, track, claim**

Share your link, watch invited users, and claim SOL / USDCe / point rewards as they accrue.

## How a Referral Comes Together

<table data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th></th><th></th><th data-hidden data-card-cover data-type="image">Cover image</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><a href="/pages/a59SPBTSoTjUn3JjsVCP"><strong>Referral Link</strong></a></td><td>Where your invite link lives, how to copy it, and how to download the QR code.</td><td></td></tr><tr><td><a href="/pages/7FUZgcWcqRilPG9GsUYw"><strong>Inviting Users</strong></a></td><td>How invites attach to your account and what counts as an invited user.</td><td></td></tr><tr><td><a href="/pages/smBjK7KKa5qg1hWO3uYw"><strong>Referral Rewards</strong></a></td><td>SOL, USDCe, points, awaiting-withdrawal balances, and how Earn APR is boosted.</td><td></td></tr></tbody></table>

## ACCOUNT LEVEL

The Referrals page surfaces your **current level**, **next level**, **referral percentages**, **status upgrade cost**, **instant upgrade**, and the **trading-volume requirements** for each level.

* Account level drives the referral percentages your invitees generate.
* Higher levels unlock improved referral economics and additional Earn APR pathways.
* Trading-volume requirements come from your own activity, not your invitees'.
* Instant upgrade and status upgrade cost are surfaced inline — read them before clicking the upgrade.

## REWARD PANELS

Reward panels are the lifecycle view of what your referrals are earning. They split into four kinds of value, plus a connector to Earn.

* **SOL rewards** — paid directly to a connected wallet.
* **USDCe rewards** — paid in USDCe to a connected wallet.
* **Points** — non-currency reward currency surfaced on Referrals.
* **Awaiting withdrawal** — accrued but not yet claimable.
* **APR in Earn** — referral activity contributes to the APR boost surfaced inside [Earn](/graphdex-docs/earn-staking/earn-overview.md).
* Availability and claim rules depend on your account state and current product rules — check the panel before assuming an amount is claimable.

## REFERRAL TABLE

The referral table is the per-invitee log. Use it to see which invites are pulling weight and which are dormant.

* One row per invited user.
* Status columns surface the invitee's level and recent activity.
* Use the table to validate why a reward panel value moved.
* Volume-driven reward changes show up here first.

Reward availability, percentages, and APR boosts change with account state and product rules. Always read the live Referrals page before quoting numbers.

## FAQs

<details>

<summary>Do I need to sign in to open Referrals?</summary>

Yes. Referrals requires a signed-in session. Without one the terminal redirects you to a public page or asks you to connect.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How do invitees attach to my account?</summary>

Through your referral link. Invitees that sign up via the link — surfaced on the Referrals screen — are attributed to your account and contribute to your reward panels and APR boost. See [Inviting Users](/graphdex-docs/referrals/inviting-users.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>What rewards can a referral pay out?</summary>

**SOL**, **USDCe**, **points**, **awaiting-withdrawal** balances, and **APR in Earn**. Each lives in its own reward panel. See [Referral Rewards](/graphdex-docs/referrals/referral-rewards.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>How does account level interact with referrals?</summary>

Your level drives referral percentages and unlocks improved economics. The trading-volume requirements that move you up come from **your own** activity, not your invitees'. Instant upgrade and upgrade cost are shown on the Referrals account-level panel.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How does Referrals interact with Earn?</summary>

Referral activity feeds into Earn's APR boosting. The same Referrals screen surfaces **APR in Earn** as one of the reward panels, and the [Earn](/graphdex-docs/earn-staking/earn-overview.md) page shows `Boost APR via referrals` to match it.

</details>

<details>

<summary>An amount isn't claimable — why?</summary>

Reward availability depends on your account state and the current product rules. **Awaiting withdrawal** is the standard pre-claim bucket — funds accrue there and become claimable as conditions are met. Always confirm against the live reward panel before assuming an amount is withdrawable.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://graphdex-1.gitbook.io/graphdex-docs/referrals/referrals-overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
