# Open GraphDex Terminal

**Open the terminal in your browser, pick a sign-in method, and connect a wallet — discovery starts before you log in, execution starts the moment you do.**

<div align="center"><figure><img src="/files/JBN29ujDJykAmMONwLxK" alt="GraphDex Terminal — Research as the first view"><figcaption><p>GraphDex Terminal — Research as the first view after opening the URL.</p></figcaption></figure></div>

GraphDex Terminal lives at [terminal.graphdex.io](https://terminal.graphdex.io). Open it in any modern browser — Research data is visible right away, so you can scan New, Trends, and Gems before deciding to sign in.

The header carries the full section nav — Research, Pulse, Trading, Wallet, Earn, Referrals, Tracker — plus a `Connect wallet` button. The footer keeps Wallet Tracker, Twitter Tracker, connection status, balance, Help, and Trading Settings within one click.

Sign-in unlocks account features: wallet balance, your own orders and trade history, Tracker watchlists, and Earn / Referrals. Discovery (Research, Pulse, public token pages) stays open without an account.

**Get into the terminal in under a minute**

Open the URL, glance at Research, then hit `Connect wallet` when you're ready to place a trade.

## DEFAULT DISCOVERY VIEW

<figure><img src="/files/JBN29ujDJykAmMONwLxK" alt="Research — default discovery view"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The terminal opens straight into **Research**, so you have a market view from the first second. Three tabs hand you different angles on the same Solana token universe.

* **New** — pairs that just appeared on-chain, sorted so the freshest activity floats to the top.
* **Trends** — tokens with sustained activity across selectable time windows (1m → 24h).
* **Gems** — high-signal candidates by GraphDex terminal metrics, refreshed in tight windows.
* Each row exposes Market Cap, Live Liquidity, transaction count with buy/sell split, Volume, short-window movement, and Audit signals.
* One click on any pair opens it in **Trading** — the discovery surface and the execution surface share the same selection.

## THE SIGN-IN MODAL

Hit `Connect wallet` and the sign-in sheet drops down with every supported entry point in one place. Pick whichever matches the wallet or account you already have.

* **Phantom** and **MetaMask** for direct wallet sign-in — the modal flags `No Phantom Detected` or `No MetaMask Detected` if the extension isn't available.
* **Telegram** and **Google** for fast OAuth sign-in without installing anything.
* **Email** as a lightweight fallback when wallet extensions aren't around.
* After sign-in, the same modal becomes the place to attach or swap a wallet on an existing account.

## NETWORK CONTEXT

GraphDex Terminal opens in the **Solana** trading context — you'll see this reflected in URLs such as `/sol/research` and `/sol/terminal/{token-address}`. Before placing your first order, confirm your connected wallet and on-chain funds match the network you're trading on.

## FAQs

<details>

<summary>Do I need to sign in to look at tokens?</summary>

No. Research, Pulse, and public token pages are visible without sign-in. Sign-in is required for placing orders, viewing your balance and trade history, using Tracker watchlists, and the Earn and Referrals areas.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What sign-in methods does GraphDex support?</summary>

The current sign-in modal offers:

* **Phantom**
* **MetaMask**
* **Telegram**
* **Google**
* **Email**

See [Sign In & Connect](/graphdex-docs/getting-started/sign-in-and-connect.md) for the full flow.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What does <code>No Phantom Detected</code> or <code>No MetaMask Detected</code> mean?</summary>

It means the corresponding wallet extension isn't installed or isn't reachable from your current browser session. Install the extension, refresh the terminal, and re-open the sign-in modal. See [Connect a Wallet](/graphdex-docs/getting-started/connect-a-wallet.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Which network does the terminal use?</summary>

GraphDex Terminal currently opens in the Solana terminal context — visible in URLs such as `/sol/research` and `/sol/terminal/{token-address}`. Make sure your wallet and funds match Solana mainnet before trading.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What should I do right after signing in?</summary>

1. Confirm the connected wallet on the header.
2. Review your balance in the bottom toolbar.
3. Open [Trading Settings](/graphdex-docs/trading/trading-settings-overview.md) and configure slippage, priority fee, and validator bribe.
4. Walk through [First Safety Checklist](/graphdex-docs/getting-started/first-safety-checklist.md).
5. Inspect liquidity, volume, transaction activity, and audit signals on any token before placing an order.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does GraphDex hold my funds?</summary>

No. GraphDex is a non-custodial trading terminal — your funds stay in your connected wallet. You remain responsible for your wallet, your seed phrase, and every trading decision. See [Wallet Security Notes](/graphdex-docs/wallet/wallet-security-notes.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://graphdex-1.gitbook.io/graphdex-docs/getting-started/open-graphdex-terminal.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
